A little about me

Thanks for stopping by. For the past 5 years, I have excelled in product marketing and analytics roles at some of the top tech companies including Toyota, Microsoft, and Salesforce. Most recently I have had the unique opportunity of implementing and advocating for diversity and inclusion initiatives for Toyota Ventures, the venture capital leg of Toyota Research Institute. In addition to my passion for working to solve the funding gap within underrepresented communities in VC, I have also demonstrated a strong ability to be skillful in product marketing. Moreover, I have held lead product marketing roles for both Microsofts AI Lab Innovation teams as well as their gaming organization.

I have an unwavering passion and energy for people, which has proven a valuable asset in my career. I believe the best customer experiences come from genuine empathy, while always maintaining a friendly, positive and energetic character. As a serial entrepreneur at heart, I will always put my customer first and be sure to prioritize delivering quality service.

More importantly, I am a lover of all things but especially traveling, start-ups, and gemini-related things. Catch me watching the new top rated Netflix show, golfing on a course near you, or creating tik-toks with my family.

Now I have a question for you: How can I be of value to you?

Toyota Ventures, D&I Advisor

I had the pleasure of learning about the current diversity disparity in the venture capital ecosystem and advocate to implement new initiatives that would assist in bridging the gap. From attending live seminars, networking with other firms, and creating internal tools that would serve as a vehicle for the entire team, I was able to successfully implement initiatives that directly impacted the team, portfolio, industry, and operating pipeline. Upon the completion of my term, some things I was able to accomplish are listed but not limited to: DiversityVC Standard Certified, formal partnership with HBCUvc, exclusive team Lunch and Learn trainings, 99% team completion of the project include course, over 24 events attended, and over 500 rows of pipeline data analyzed and reported on.

Microsoft Corporation, Product Marketing Manager, GTM Strategist, Lifecycle Marketer

In 2019 Microsoft issued a new vertical which stemmed from their cloud organization called the AI Labs and Innovation Team. I was tasked with leading the team on strategizing the most effective way to connect with the developer audience for their AI Labs website and platform. I was able to successfully recommend and implement new ways to analyze web performance data and measure perception, develop new web design, create the marketing plan that included recommendations for ad spend and go-to-market strategy, as well as coordinate an internal wide focus group that pulled qualitative insights. I also worked in the gaming organization on the Minecraft marketing team, leading the lifecycle marketing campaigns for the new mobile Augmented Reality game app, Minecraft Earth.

Toyota, Marketing Analytics Manager

As a Marketing Analytics Manager I was able to apply Structured Query Language (SQL) to the manipulation of over 1,000 rows of data. I then exported this data to excel in efforts to build reports and conduct analysis in Power BI. I mostly analyzed Sales and Revenue data of Toyota and its competitors depicting insights of sales and consumer prices. I also had the opportunity to use Observe Point and Adobe Analytics to track embedded JavaScript tags on the Toyota.com website to gain insight into online consumer behavior. To remain agile and engaged I actively participated in training offered to improve work efficiency and quality such as JKK Global Training, Toyota Production Systems, and the Toyota Way, Scrum Master Circle. From this experience, I was able obtain skills in data management, data visualization, SQL, Web design, and project management.
